What inspired you to write this book?

M Dee Iverson: Life Works is actually an extension of the detaux show which is a small podcast that we have here  initially detox was not for gaining  followers or gaining any kind of attention it was more about bringing these experts and Industry leaders on a platform for them to share their experiences and I wanted to write a book for the longest time ever since I was a kid and I Thought what’s better than collaborating with all of the guests that have already been on the show and brought them on one platform

How long did it take you to make this book together with all the authors?

M Dee Iverson: We started in January of 2024 when I initiated  and gave everyone an invitation to write in the book and of course all of the co-authors were amazing they collaborated really well with you know all of the requirements that we had and then it took approximately 1 month from my editor Masira to actually edit the book out get all of the covers live push it live on Apple Books and Google Books and all of the other platforms.

Being an author is there any book that inspired you to start to write?

M Dee Iverson: I think it would be the 40 rules of love by elif shafak, I know it sounds like 40 rules of love but I think it’s actually more about life than it is about love.

If you have three very important things in life, what would it be?

M Dee Iverson: The first would be the act of giving which is my chapter in the book. The second would be faith in any God for a matter of fact. And the third thing would be having somebody with you, a partner or a best friend, which for me is Sam and I think a relationship like that is what can really take you ahead and is the most meaningful thing in life.

What are the insights we will be expecting about this book?

M Dee Iverson: It’s finding balance and the imbalances of life. Just a disclaimer this book is not written by actual authors, we’re not writers. It’s not about the content, the book is about the movement behind the content and it’s really about me finding a deeper meaning in life by giving. Hajeer who faced a near-death accident, Mayank and his Focus, Lavina on being a single mother, Denise on overcoming Eating Disorders, Sana on drowning and she became an Iron Man, Sergio on prioritizing mental health, Cleatus on Evolution in life, and Sam on finding Serenity in life.

As “Life Works” continues to make its mark on the literary world, the authors remain committed to spreading its message far and wide. You can catch a glimpse of the vibrant atmosphere and memorable moments from the launch event we recently hosted.

The launch event of “Life Works” was a warm and intimate affair, filled with laughter, tears, and moments of reflection.

As the event ended, there was a sense of gratitude in the air. Gratitude for the stories shared, the lessons learned, and the connections made. “Life Works” may be just a book, but it’s also a reminder that life is a journey filled with endless possibilities, and that every moment is an opportunity to learn, grow, and make a difference.
